Customs, Duties & Taxes for orders to Canada

Orders shipping outside the U.S.A. are typically subject to government taxes, duties and brokerage fees. This article explains Probelle's international methods of shipment and international terms of sale.

  • Brokerage fees are levied by the shipping company (e.g. FedEx) to cover the cost of processing the package through customs.
  • Taxes are sales/usage taxes levied by the destination country's government. e.g. Sales tax, VAT, GST
  • Duties are special importation taxes levied by the destination country's government for particular classes of goods

We ship from the United States with terms defined as "Free on Board (FOB), USA". This means that ANY and ALL fees (except shipping/transit) charges are your responsibility. You will probably be charged some mixture of customs fees (e.g. taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) upon delivery of your shipment. Palladio Beauty has no control over these fees, nor any means to calculate them. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information.

The shipping charges you pay to Probelle do NOT include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to Probelle and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. Therefore, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees. If you receive the shipment and refuse to pay the customs fees, such that we are billed by UPS, USPS, DHL, or FedEx on your behalf, we will bill you for these fees directly.

It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. Also, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment. Please familiarize yourself with the customs laws in your country, BEFORE you order!

Does Pro-Belle.com charge for Shipping on every order?

All orders over $25 will receive FREE U.S. Shipping (Canada $100 or more). Probelle also offers shipping options to choose from for $5 (Standard 7-Day Shipping), $10 (3-Day Rush Shipping).

Does Probelle offer International Shipping?

WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO ACCEPT ORDERS BILLED OR SHIPPED TO DESTINATIONS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES OR CANADA. IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF THESE AREAS, PLEASE VISIT THE PROBELLE AMAZON STORE WHICH OFFERS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OPTIONS.

What is Probelle's Return Policy?

We, at Palladio Beauty Group, are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality and we proudly guarantee every product we sell. If you are unhappy with any item purchased from our online store, simply return the unused portion within 30 days of the purchase date, and we will gladly exchange the item for a product of equal or lesser value -- no questions asked and no receipt required. (All sales are non-refundable.)

Exchanges will ONLY be granted on items purchased from www.Pro-Belle.com. Items purchased from any other store or website can not be returned to us, but should be returned directly to the site or store of purchase. 

If you wish to return any product(s) from your online order, within 30 days of the purchase date, print and complete our Return/Exchange Form and place it inside the return package along with the unwanted items. Make sure all information is printed clearly and legibly, and mail the package to:

Please retain all shipping receipts and a copy of this form for your records. Palladio Beauty Group is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, please follow up with USPS or FexEx directly. Customers are responsible for return shipping expenses. Additionally, refunds are not given for gaps in cost between exchanged products.


Products may not be exchanged for items of higher value.

Other Important Information

Items returned more than 30 days after the purchase date will be automatically discarded at the Customer’s expense. Clearance/closeout sales are final and are not applicable for exchange. Palladio Beauty Group reserves the right to discard any item(s) returned that do not meet the above criteria, without notice to Customer. Customers will not be reimbursed for discarded items.
